didn't post until 12:20 our time because we had another scare with little pup... was it the new selection of raw hide just before her tongue was too big to fit in her mouth? the couple bites of steak marinaded in pineapple juice 5 hours ago? who knows? but by the time we got the the emergency pet clinic THIS TIME, the tongue fit back inside the mouth and smacking was pretty much nonexistent. thank goodness, no emergency bills this time! and the benadryl was just a motherly precaution.
