Our backyard, after Andrew and his coworkers cut down about 15 trees. This morning we walked outside and sat in pure sunshine! I can't wait for us to have a grassy backyard instead of 5 years worth of leaves!

oh, how nice! this will definitely be a great backyard before long. i treated myself to a new box of tea... blueberry & pomegranate. i highly recommend it, if you haven't tried it yet!

Good Night...

Many years ago, two young friends kissed their parents goodnight in their respective houses, went up to their bedrooms and turned out the lights. But before going to sleep, the young girls curled up by their windows with their bedside lamps, signaling back and forth across back yards and a stretching field. What looked like random blinks were really coded messages... "Hi BFF," "Call tomorrow," and "Shh, parents coming!!!"

Over a decade and thousands of miles later, these two best friends have reinvented their nightly ritual... windows turned into blogworld, and lamps turned into photos. So each day ends not with the husband's good night kiss, but with a posted picture of the day and a smile.

Shh... husband coming!
